    Personal Notes:
There is not much info on this appeal because I really don't know when I was banned. Yesterday on the 7th of June I tried logging in PRTA EU #2 and I find myself (perma?)banned for excessive teamkilling.
There must be some kind of mistake, I don't remember mass TKing on PRTA (I did systematically teamkill a group of mass teamkillers a dew days ago on NEW who have gone on a TK rampage when no admin was on and effectively forced them to leave the server) and I'm not that kind of a player to begin with.

I apogolize for not being able to provide any further info but this really was a shock to me as a few days ago I was playing just fine on the PRTA servers so I can only assume I was banned some time in June.

    The ban is permanent.

The nickname 'Meme_Dream_Supreme' should tell you something.

Yes it does, he is yet another mass TKer. Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of spawnkilling him before he did his thing. I think he started TKing on an American server? Then I can't remember if it was on the same day but I saw him again (I guess it was a PRTA server) and immediately reported him to the only admin there. The admin's name was uhhh... Scuza? Or something like that. It was on Lashkar Valley and "Meme_Dream_Supreme" and I and was on the German side while the admin was on the Taliban side.
I urged the admin to ban him asap before he started TKing. He didn't, because yeah you can't just ban someone just because of an accusation. Meme_Dream_Supreme did start TKing though shortly after and he was promptly banned by the admin.

Is there any log of me TKing him? Because I'm fairly certain I didn't.

    Well
that explains why you are banned, as the key has been banned from a lot of communities. You should be banned on NEW aswell and on CIA.
Can you explain how it is possible that u have the same hashkey?

Well isn't this a lovely coincidence that I even ran into him on multiple servers.

I assume the hashkey is generated when you make an account. I can't be game key related as I have my own copy of BF2.

I didn't however, back in the day of 2005 make my account in an internet cafe.
Is this what caused this issue? If so, if a teamkiller/griefer shares the same hashkey, do not unban the key by any means.

So if I have my own CD-key, will making a new account/in-game name fix this? With EA's tech support now at an end what could possibly allow me to play again on PRTA without having to buy a new copy of BF2?

I believe in 1.3 you don't need a BF2 key anymore and hash is locked to system so its unlikely it was from the internet cafe...

I don't know what to tell you, I have no idea how a hashkey can be shared by two different people. I have run into Meme_Dream_Supreme twice, surely you're not assuming that we're the same person using the same pc? That's not possible.

    • Added new CD key code. All CD keys will be updated and are now machine locked.
The PR changelog pretty much comfirms that the hash is locked to your PC.

What does that mean "locked to my pc"? My BF2 key or my ip? I was with the guy twice in the same server. I even reported him like I said. How is that possible?

PR don't uses bf2 keys anymore. The key gets generated out of hardware components in your PC. So it's based on the hardware you use. Hardware often has unique identifiers so it's reasonable to use these information for key generation as indeed keys could be manipulated before 1.3.

I live alone, please refrain from making jokes people.

When I was first installing 1.3, the installation froze on the punkbuster update (I shouldn't have told the installer to update it in the first place). All I could do was end the process for the installation, thinking that everything mandatory would have been installed anyway. Could it be possible that the hashkey is generated at the very end of the installation and my old hashkey was used which by some random chance is shared with another?

Probably not possible. An admin would probably look at your IP when he checks this appeal, But you could've used a VPN if you are the dank memer

But I'm not, this is completely absurd. I've never used a different name in BF2 or PR. I'm willing to give out any other information if it's necessary.
What can I do to get to get to play again because this is totally unfair and unjustified.
