    0 = false
    1 = true

    1 and 0 = 0 1 or 0 = 1 1 nand 0 = 1
    0 xor 1 = 1 0 nor 1 = 0
    1 xnor 0 = 0
    0 not 0 = 1

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Well, documented or not it's still 2k lines of code, so there is no difference.
    The answer would probably be different, if you would have asked for commented code! :cool:

    As I understand, documentation is an explanation of the code outside of the code itself, so a documented code would necessarily involve more writing than the same undocumented code (2k code lines+X lines documentation>2k code lines) :bookworm:

    Your class is 2k lines big, including doc (including comments).
    OR
    Your class is 2k lines big, code only.

    The question wasn't how long it takes to write 2k lines of code + documentation.
    The question was how long it takes to write the code. How long it takes to write the documentation afterwards is not part of the question, if you read it carefully.

    Run it through a compiler, then decompile it and count the lines in the class again.
    Comments are a bonus. They don't belong to "the code".
    The documentation of it is another story and it's not part of the source code base. It usually can be found in a wiki or some other sort of document. In some specific cases, it can be generated (e.g. api descriptions with swagger). In the worst case it's just in a README.md file.

    OR

    Code Documentation = A high level description of the entire program/namespace/class/library in a seperate document.
    Code Comments = Lower level and brief hints to very specific lines of code.

    Don't tell me what to do :tongue:

    Could you write a bot grabbing posts, quoting them and commenting it with "it should be if you're doing it correctly?"?
    I am sensing it would save you a lot of time. :biggrin:

    tobi just got N E R D D E S T R O Y E D

    Technically, you can have comments in compiled code. Just create (java inc) static final (java end) strings everywhere you wanna comment, and leave some nice messages for the person decompiling your code xd

    Assuming that's supposed to be bash: that's code, not a comment.
