Closed FPS problems...

    Hey everybody, i've been experiencing frame drops in Project Reality.

    It goes from 60 FPS to 40 / 30 and from then 30 /25 and stuff like that but i can easily run Star Wars Battlefront in Ultra settings at 50 / 60 FPS.

    Thats completely normal. Game is not optimalized. If you look at at the city with lots of objects in it such as Fallujah, then you will get FPS drops.

    Yes but when i see youtube PR videos where it is constant 60 FPS then i'm asking myself some questions...

    I run PR 40fps and up normally 60+ and it use to be 90-100 6 months ago before the latest updates.
    Like Sserpenss said... PR is poorly optimised. You need a very good PC to make it run better. Its not about the graphics. PR/ BF2 runs on 1 core. So it helps to have lots of GHzsssss having a quad core or more isnt going to make a difference... a dual core with high GHz is going to be better for you.

    I got an i7 3770K, it's 3,5 GHz, i can clock it at 3,9 GHz and it has 4 cores.

    Windows 8 gave me ~20FPS on even low settings but now I run PR at everything maxed out except effects at 40-60 FPS on all maps after I upgraded to Windows 10 with my measly 940m gt.
    Make sure PR is not running from Intel HD graphics but from ur discrete GPU.
    Run PR at native resolution of ur Windows.
    Erase ur graphics cache from PR support menu and start the game.
