Battle Recorder Demo Files
Battle Recorder Information
Battlerecorder is a build-in BF2 tool to open a previously played round and analyse everything that happened. You can move around freely in 3D space, fast forward or pause, follow and switch between players and use various camera modes. It can be used to make cool videos but obviously can also be a handy tool for server admins to find evidence of certain events.
Example
Getting the files
- File Explorer for PRTA1 may be downloaded from the Modern Conflict server or from our secondary server. Each battlerecorder file contains the time it was created as part of the filename, but there is currently no other identifying information.
- Download the .bf2demo file and place it in the folder
...\Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles\Default\demos
, if there is no demo folder you obviously have to make one. - Open PR and go to
barracks/replays
. At the bottom you will find your demo file with the mapname next to it. Open it to start the replay.
