PRTA servers use a reserved slot system to give priority access to staff, admins and members of PRTA. If you are not a member yet then apply to become a member.
To be added to the list we need to know your exact BF2 account name, which you must provide in your contact details.
Many players use tags as part of their in-game name. This may be part of your account name, or may be added as a prefix. For example, my in-game name is: 2LT Sloan[EEF] The "2LT" part is a prefix, not part of my account name. The "Sloan[EEF]" part is my account name.
We only need to know your account name to add you to the reserved slots list, so in my case I put
Sloan[EEF] in my contact details.
Your prefix can be changed as often as you want, you do not need to inform us of any changes to it for your reserved slot to continue to work. Your account name can be updated at any time and any changes should be applied the next time the game server restarts, with no need to wait for anyone to manually update anything.
The easy way
The easiest way to get a reserved slot is to donate, so that you are added to the donor user group. This method is entirely automated, it requires no waiting for anyone to manually update anything and needs no requests to be posted anywhere.
The hard way
To request a reserved slot through an alternative method just follow this link. Bumping an existing thread will probably result in your request being overlooked or deliberately ignored. This method usually takes more effort and is slower, as you will need to wait for someone to manually add you to a user group on the forums.
