Anyone here into Detective/True Crime TV or films?

I've binge watched Luther, Whitechapel, Real Detective, Forensic Files, FBI Files over the last month or so. Love the stuff.

Luther is awesome. Season 5 should be out late this year. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/luther...ason-5-netflix-2017-air-date-cast-idris-elba/

I like as well british ones, all time favorites being e.g. Morse, Endeavour, Silent Witness, River, Hinterland, Shetland, Broadchurch, The Missing, Vera, Gently, Jack Taylor, Happy Valley, Frost, Lynley, Foyles's War and whatever i can't remember now...

Top of the Lake (New Zealand), written by Jane Campion and Gerard Lee, and directed by Campion and Garth Davis, is in it's own category, just unbeatably grim and weird.

"Nordic noirs" like The Bridge (Bron/Broen), The Killing (Forbrydelsen), Modus, The Spiral, Trapped, Case, Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy, Department Q movies (based on Jussi Adler-Olsen's books), Varg Veum and naturally classics like Wallander (based on books by Henning Mankell), Beck (based on books by Sjövall and Wahlö) and the latest Maria Lang movie series.

Thanks for the suggestions, some of these look great. Going to check them out over the next few weeks.

Whitechapel has been my favourite so far, although Real Detective surprised me in it's different approach to the subject.
