Before You Start Connect up with your host so you can converse - / Teamspeak / Ventrilo or similar so you can confirm details.

    To Host
Load and log on to Hamachi or similar VPN tool, to create your own network. Note the IP address of the network you've started.

Load PR, apply settings and select the map you are planning to play.
Note the details (Co0p server name and password) so you can share the love!

Shout instructions at your guests! Tell them:
VPN Network Name (what is your Hamachi network's name?)
VPN IP address (what is the IP address of your Hamachi network?)

    VPN network password

Co-Op Server Name (what is the name of your PR Co-Op Server?)

Password (what password have you set for your PR Co-Op Server?)

    To Join as a Guest
Load and log on to Hamachi (or similar VPN tool), and select Network > Join an existing network... Enter the IP address of the network your host has started, then enter the password. Click Join.
    • At this point the host should be able to see you've connected to their Hamachi network. Make sure this step is successful.
Load PR, select Join Local. If the host's server is not listed select Join IP.

    Enter the HAMACHI IP address.

If your host has given you a password, enter it.

If the gods are with you, you'll be presented with a the specific map loading screen. CONGRATULATIONS!

By the way, you can also create your own "pub map" as opposed to "co-op map" server!

Blaze. To play with your housemates you only need to be in one local network (ex. connected to one router) to play together. All you have to do is check your ip (in windows open cmd.exe and type "ipconfig" and look for aproporiate connection type [lan, wifi]) and then give it to your mates .

cassius231 will that make our game be player+bots vs bots? Because I once tried it and when my mates joined it's auto-balancing so some of my mates got switched to the other team. I've turned off the auto-balance option but it still persists.
That's why I thought this guide might make it without balancing

But maybe I should try it again later and see if I missed something
