128 player Test Event - The Karez Offensive! 1st of May 1800 PRT Sunday

    Not an official PRTA event necesasarialy, but worthy of a news post since its wicca :wink:

    This Event will be on the 128 player server.
    We invite everyone to a game filled with mumble
    and gaming from 1800 PRT and onwards.

    We will mainly use this map, but other maps will be used aswell!

    Put the file in your mods/pr/levels folder and extract it there. Then its ready to go!

    Password will be released in mumble so make sure you read the mumble description.

    Well, not all the time USMC is using huey's . But it the PR. Anyway event was hardcore. The FOB's itself created a chock points and the mortars for this was handy :wink: But yeah, map is good, just need maybe more roads, but we were good to go.

    I REALLY like the map, but things went a little stale when no organizing commander was in charge and no one knew where to go.

    but there still is no reason to attack. its just "who gets bored first and runs into the enemys". i think you should add atealst 2 flags with big cap radii(1km), like it was on mestia. hits gives you tactical freedom, a reason to defend/attack and gives you a higher chance to find an enemy within the caprange.
    the way it is now i dont see it working especially with playernumber smaller than 100

    We had the "big flag" already in an early test and it did NOT work out. Its good as it was and there is still room for improvement.

    Just make it CnC only and everyone is happy. You get an objective, defend/destroy FOBs.

    If CnC has 5 fobs yes. And none of that FOB REMOVA= LOTS OF BLEEDING.

    Id rather have, if you destroy a fob. You lose 10 tickets. Then teams can choose, if they want to erect them or not. But still gives you incentive to defend or attack naturally.

    What do you think?

    Well, theres nothing you can change on the C&C game mode. If flags did not work, and the gameplay on your map turned out to be: Build a FOB somewhere, hunt the enemy FOB, repeat than C&C is the perfect gamemode.

    Well, since CnC is never played, I'm sure the Devs would be open to suggestions regarding the game mode to make it work on the one map that actually benefits from it.
