Welcome to the fifth edition of the PR: ArmA2 Highlights Reel!
Although this newsreel has been a while in coming, there has been a significant reason for this, the main one being there really was not too much to update on and also a large rethink of our priorities for v0.1. The team have continued however to work away in the background on a new Map, and as always constant improvements to the gameplay. Point to note, everything mentioned in this and any future news posts will now only relate to PR: ArmA2 v0.1 only.
- What Will be in the first release - v0.1
A lot of speculation has been thrown around recently as to what we will actually be releasing in our first version of PR: ArmA2. With a lot of updates over the last 12 months, talking about different concepts and models - like any new Mod, we have now prioritized what we will be releasing in v0.1. to that end the following will be released in PR: ArmA2 v0.1:

We have had smaller scale meets before, organised by our Operations Lead, [R-DEV]UK_Force, which have all been highly successful and hugely entertaining. Unfortunately due to changes in circumstances he was unable to organise something similar for this year, so [R-DEV]Dr Rank, with the help of the PR Team has organised this event to take it to the next level!
PR CON 2011 will take place at the Rivermead Leisure Complex in Reading (Berkshire, England, UK). PR CON 2011 is a charity event; all of the profits made from the event will be donated to Help for Heroes (registered charity number 1120920). The PRTT League is a project that aims to create a friendly but competetive athmosphere amongst clans. It will focus around smaller battles in skirmish mode exclusive for PRTA, for the time being. When things are moving along smoothly we will most likely expand to both PR:A2, larger battles and the entire PR community.
Overall the League will very much be in the hands of the players. The Teams will decide when and where to fight as long as they use the standard server configuration and have one game every two weeks at the very least. They will also decide the numbers themselves, with a minimum of 6v6 and a maximum of 12v12 in the beginning. When the teams have agreed on a date and time and server, they fight one round as each faction the the chosen map. The rounds are limited to 60 minutes and the winner is determined by tickets. One League season will be approximately 3 months.

We shall invade server after server and squad after squad, and tell them of PR.
